From Italy, a charming pair of Tôle Peinte floral candle wall sconces, made of hand-painted iron, circa mid 1900s.
Showing a lovely time-worn patina, the floral bouquets of petaled flowers and green leaves each have three arms terminating in candle holders with a petal form drip pan.
Made well with substantial weight. A complex design.
15 in. W x 12 in. H, extending 10 in. from the wall.
Losses to the painted surface and light rust as is expected.
