Description
An 18th-Century Dutch Delft, tin-glazed earthenware deep charger, inspired by Chinese export porcelain and hand painted in a heavy cobalt blue Chinoiserie – style overall floral pattern. A stylized border of an alternating floral like pattern is edged with a white rim. The verso is glazed in a light blue with a wide rear rim.
Maker unknown, circa 1730 – 1750.
13.5″ Diam. x 2″ H. Very good antique condition, the expected fritting and a sliver to the rear rim.
