Syracuse China was a historic American manufacturer of fine china and commercial dinnerware. Originally founded in 1871 as the Onondaga Pottery Company, the brand became legendary for its durable, high-quality restaurant and railway ware.
The Adams pattern is printed in blue on a white ground. Showing a running border of ornaments, urns, and swags.
Molded in one piece, the match box holder shows a Lion and Unicorn crest with a Latin inscription.
The tray portion is for holding spent matches and ashes.
5.5 inches in diameter x 2.5 inches high.
