Description
A charming Pre Mid-Century pitcher, American clear glass, circa late 1930s-early 1940s. The Scotty dog glass collectible craze began when President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s Scottish Terrier, named Fala, won the the adoration of the American public.
The heavy pitcher shows an enameled pattern of black Scotty dogs running with bouncing black balls. A playful red border at the base, a white fence border above the dogs.
In the Art Deco style by Hazel-Atlas Glass.
The pitcher has an ice lip and an applied ribbed handle.
