A fabulous set of four lobster plates designed by Edward Don for Sterling Vitrified China – circa 1950s.
Sterling China in Ohio was well known for their restaurant ware lines and for producing pieces by Russell Wright.
The lobster platters are heavy weight and sized for serving a single whole lobster.
The burgundy red on white graphic design has an airbrushed quality and shows a whole lobster across the front with a fade-in border, also in burgundy.
