In the “Amaranthine Flowers” pattern, a set of six dinner plates, by Elijah Jones & Edward Walley –  Hanley Cobridge Staffordshire,  Circa 1841-1843.

A Stone China body, transfer printed in a romantic soft blue. A central bouquet of  flowers with scrolling reminiscent of the Amaranth flower. An inner rim of six smaller bouquets lead to a shaped outer rim molded with scrolling and raised floral pendant bouquets.

Marked: A cartouche bearing the pattern name and the initials J & W.

All six plates are in incredible antique condition.
