A set of twelve French Provençal linen napkins or serviettes with a bold embroidered monogram, circa mid-late 1920s.
The French linen napkins have a plaid design dating from the Art Deco era.
Each serviette has a monogram with the initials G L embroidered in yellow and orange.
Made from a light taupe or ecru woven linen fabric with bold contrasting stripes in white, yellow, green, black, and red.
Nicely hemmed and ideal for entertaining.
Measures: 20 inches Square
The napkins have been freshly laundered in lavender water, starched and pressed. In excellent antique condition without staining or damage.
