A porcelain plate with pink roses and a gilded beaded border, by M&Z Austria, circa 1900.
“M&Z Austria” porcelain was produced by Moritz Zdekauer in Altrohlau, Austria, now part of the Czech Republic, from 1884-1909.
They are known for their lavish floral patterns with gold decoration.
A shaped and beaded rim in an iridescent pale blue ground fading towards the center which shows a hand-painted bouquet of pink and yellow roses.
An eight lobed mold, each with a single hand painted rose.
Beautiful hung on the wall in a romantic room setting.
