From the Belgian pottery Wasmuël, an earthenware six-well oyster plate, circa 1880-1890. A highly dimensional, wave-like pattern moves from the center of the plate, over a cobalt blue back ground. A spray of leaves and and berries, tied with a lavender ribbon, lays across the front of the plate and over the center sauce well. Lovely color, rarely seen marked.
