Description
An enamelware Lotus pattern dutch oven manufactured by the Norwegian manufacturer Cathrineholm. Cathrineholm operated from 1907-1970. The popular Lotus line was designed by Grete Prytz Kittelsen and produced during the early to mid 1960s.
Cobalt blue lotus leaves on white enameled steel with a cobalt blue knobbed lid and steel handles. Holding approximately 6.5-7 quarts, this is the largest piece of the line. It works beautifully for casseroles, soups or roasting, and moves from the freezer, stovetop or oven to the tabletop.
