A French majolica Jardinière in the Aesthetic taste, with a yellow ochre Greek key border and a chocolate brown ground. The raised molded pattern shows overlapping bright green ferns, sprays of five petal pink flowers and large leaves in variegated olive green. The strong glazing on the outside contrasts beautifully with a pale turquoise ground to the interior.

Very good antique condition, the interior shows overall crazing and staining from use. No structural damage.
