From Creil et Montereau, a set of eight faïence plates in the Flora pattern, circa 1840-1876.
Having a charming hand-made quality, each of these blue transfer printed plates varies slightly in the intensity of the transfer and in the thickness of the plate. A running border of scrolls and Morning Glory vines with a hatched rim, this pattern is typical of the 19th C., Provęncal France.
