A French faïence Neoclassical transfer printed plate from Creil ét Montereau, circa 1820-1830.
A black transfer of an architectural image on a creamware body, depicting the École Militaire à Paris. The domed building is prominent, with figures in period dress appearing in the foreground. An oak leaf and acorn border follows the rim. Creil was founded in 1797 and operated until 1876.
