A French Neoclassical faïence transfer printed creamware plate, circa 1820-1830.
A black transfer of an architectural image on a creamware body, depicting the Palais de la Chambre des Deputés à Paris. The building is prominent, with figures in period dress appearing in the foreground. A horse drawn carriage, a rider on horseback, along with a running dog are shown as well. A Greek Key ribbon scroll and floral border follows the rim.

An impressed makers mark on the verso. Possibly Valentin Paillart and Hippolyte Hautin, Choisy.
The expected wear. Light discoloring and utensil marking to the field, a minor bite on the rim.
