A large Hollywood Regency Period wall mirror, showing a a giltwood Sunburst with a raised and beaded bezel, from France, circa 1920s.
Made of gilded and gesso on wood, the mirror is set in a wide, raised and beaded bezel painted in gold with red boule showing through. The gilded and pointed sun rays extend out from the bezel forming the frame. A small flat mirror is at the center of the sun. Wood verso.

This mirror shows beautifully, with minor scattered losses to the finish.
