A French majolica, shield shaped oyster plate, known as the Russian Imperial Eagle, circa late 1880-1890.
The six well oyster shows a dimensional mold, handled, with a center sauce well. Dusty pink glazing on the outer edge fades into turquoise, with a deep yellow ochre pierced handle. A footed verso.
