A George Jones Majolica Strawberry spoon, England, circa 1870.
In the Aesthetic taste and glazed in the white ground known as ‘Albino.’ The green leaf of the strawberry plant is molded on the bowl along with a pink rimmed strawberry blossom. The curved handle shows the stem of the leaf wrapped with a yellow ribbon. The bowl has a serrate edge, mimicking the edging of a strawberry leaf, another pink strawberry blossom is molded on the handle terminate. The back of the bowl shows the raised mold work of a blossom against a leaf.

Extremely rare and in excellent antique condition, showing the expected light wear.
