From Halcyon Days, a Bilston enamel trinket box shaped as an egg, Stoke-on-Trent, England, circa 1970-1980s.
Established in the 1950s, Halcyon Days Ltd is a British business which holds all three Royal Warrants to the British Royal Household as Suppliers of objets d’art – one of only 14 businesses to hold all three.
This box is shaped and hand enameled as an egg adorned with boldly colored flowers and twining green leaves on a creamy, off-white ground.
The box is braced in copper.
1.75 inches in diameter x 2.5 inches high.
Marked: The Halcyon logo is shown on the interior of the upper lid.
Excellent vintage condition.
