Description
A vintage Hubley cast iron doorstop showing a bouquet of yellow and pink roses along with blue and pink colored phlox, held by a pink, handled wicker basket. The basket sits on a raised plinth and retains the original painted finish. One of the smaller flower basket examples, nicely suited as a bookend as well.

The Hubley manufacturing company was first incorporated in 1894 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania by John Hubley. The company is well-known for their cast iron novelties. Their pieces are highly collectible and much sought after.
