An Aesthetic Movement French Faïence two-piece asparagus server with a removable drainer, Keller & Guerin St. Clément, circa 1890 – 1900, in the Art Nouveau style.
A scrolled border of Chrysanthemum flower heads in green, yellow and rose red on a creamy ground. The pierced drainer sits in a molded well, and shows two asparagus spears with flowers and scrolling. The drainer has two finger holes for removal from the bottom plate. Pierced side handles are in the form of flower stems and leaves.
