Description
An Aesthetic Movement French Faïence trompe l’oeil asparagus server, Keller & Guerin St. Clément, circa 1890 – 1900, in the Art Nouveau style.
Molded to imitate a fringed and floral checkered napkin laying across the front of a platter with five asparagus spears strewn on top of the napkin. A scrolled border of Chrysanthemum flower heads in green, yellow and rose red on a moss green ground. Beautiful soft coloring. A shaped rim with rolled side handles.

Very good antique condition, with the expected light wear. Showing kiln detrius in the clay body, a result of the firing process.
