A French Barbotine majolica glazed Absinthe pitcher formed as a sitting Whippet, Keller & Guerin St. Clément, circa 1900 – 1910.
Known as the GYPP Whippet, as tagged on his collar. True to breed in both expression and form, beautiful coloring, the ears are folded back and form the top opening of the jug and the open mouth forms the spout. The handle is shaped as the dog’s tail.
Showing the stamped makers mark on the base along with the mold No. 507/ 1.
