The illustrated teaching chart outlines the parts of the coffee plant along with the various pots and grinders used in coffee preparation and service. Each vignette is titled in French in a simple hand printed type face.
Émile Deyrolle was a French naturalist and historian in Paris. The business was founded by his naturalist grandfather, Jean-Baptiste Deyrolle who opened his shop in 1831 at 23, Rue de la Monnaie. Émile entered the family business in 1866.
