From Maison Pichon a Uzes a set of four, rustic Provencal faïence plates, Uzés, Southern France, circa 1950s.
Maison Pichon has been producing pottery by hand in Uzés since 1802. The faïencerie is named a ‘Living Heritage Company’.
The set of four plates have the wonderful hand made quality the Pichon family is known for. Glazed in a deep, iridescent olive green over the red clay typically found in Southern France. Heavily potted with a raised paneled shaped rim.
