Description

A set of three nesting Enamel on Steel handled baking and serving dishes designed by Herbert Krenchel for Krenit Denmark in 1953.

The Krenit set was produced from 1953 to 1966. Krenchel’s pieces are an excellent example of iconic, quality Mid-Century Danish design.  The minimalistic set is made of enamel on steel and goes from oven or stovetop to table. In 1954 the Krenit bowl won a golden medal at La Trienale in Milan. Krenit pieces have been displayed in museums all over the world, a perfect interplay between function and aestheticism.

This set of three nesting dishes is enameled in orange, green, and blue with beautifully shaped steel handles. The enamel is evenly colored, the versos are matte black steel, as are the handles.

They heat evenly and hold the heat beautifully for serving at table. The enameled surface is naturally non-stick and cleans easily.

Orange: 11.5 in. x 9.5 in. x 1.5 in. deep.

Green: 10 in. x 8 in. x 1.5 in. Deep

Blue: 8 in. x 6 in. x 1.5 in. Deep.

All three pieces are in incredible condition. The enamel is without issue.
