Description
From the Venetian region of Northern Italy, a set of six Murano Glass coupes or sherbets, circa 1950-1960.
Ruby Red bowls are fused to heavy clear glass pedestal bases in a distinctive Italian Mid-Century design. Still showing the original Made in Italy foil labels.
Gorgeous color, each coupe is individually formed of high quality blown glass. A ‘pontil mark’ shows on the underside of the base. This is made by the rod which is used by the artisans to hold the glass during shaping.
