From the Venetian region of Northern Italy, a set of six Murano Glass coupes or sherbets, circa 1950-1960.
Ruby Red bowls are fused to heavy clear glass pedestal bases in a distinctive Italian Mid-Century design. Still showing the original Made in Italy foil labels.
Gorgeous color, each coupe is individually formed of high quality blown glass. AÂ ‘pontil mark’ shows on the underside of the base. This is made by the rod which is used by the artisans to hold the glass during shaping.
