A French Neoclassical faïence transfer printed creamware plate produced by P&H Choisy, circa 1824-1836.
A black transfer of an architectural image on a creamware body, depicting the Temple de Gloire a la Magdeleine à Paris. The Temple is prominent, with the title printed below. Stone lions flank the perimeter of the temple, horse drawn vehicles and strolling figures are seen in the foreground. A floral border follows the rim.

An impressed makers mark on the verso, Valentin Paillart and Hippolyte Hautin, the P&H Choisy shield, with the number 20.
