An American two-piece sterling silver hollowware carving set – pattern and maker unknown, circa 1930s.
The knife has a stainless steel blade, the fork has a swing support to keep your table linen clean by raising the tines. From a Philadelphia estate, the handles are very faintly engraved with the scrolled capital initial ‘G.’
Heavy weight, both pieces are marked Sterling on the collars.

Very good condition – light wear and unpolished patina.
