Description

Dating to the Victorian Era, a pair of dark brown leather woman’s tall lace up boots, attributed to Utz & Dunn, boot makers based in Rochester, New York, circa 1890-1900.

Utz and Dunn was founded in 1881 by the German bootmaker Henry Utz and his American partner William Dunn.

The ladies boots are made of soft cowhide leather, styled in a narrow last with pointed toes, and leather soles with stacked leather Louis spool heels.

Eyelets run up the front of the boot and the long laces may be original.
