Description
An original framed Victorian Era Chromolithograph motto print, circa late 1800s to the early 1900s.
The phrase, “What is Home Without a Mother” is brightly printed on paper with a type face typical of the era. A spray of pink and red roses borders the motto, a stylized floral and leaf design edging, all on a dense black ground. Chromolithography is a unique method for making multi-color prints.
Newly framed under glass into a gold-leafed wood frame.
Frame measures: 22 in. L x 18 in. W x 1.5 in. H
Print measures: 12 in. W x 15.5 in. L
The graphic is still very bright, displaying beautifully. In very good antique condition with the expected light wear.
