An English majolica pitcher shaped as a country cottage, by Warrilow & Cope – Wellington Pottery Works, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, circa 1880-1887.
Charming in every way, English Ivy grows across the thatched roof, windows and doors are representative of the local architecture. A gnarled branch forms the handle. Majolica glazing in mostly cream and gray with a lovely pink interior.
