From Wedgwood, a set of seven Grape Leaf and Strawberry pattern majolica glazed plates, England, date marked May 1929.
A large green leaf is surrounded by smaller leaves, grape clusters, strawberries, and strawberry blossoms. Strong, colorful glazing on a bright yellow ground with trailing vines forming a brown scalloped rim. A dimensional, crisp mold.
The ochre glazed verso shows the impressed marks: Wedgwood, Made in England, along with the date code.
