Description
A scarce sea-side themed rustic English majolica, large asparagus cradle with an attached under tray, maker unknown, circa late 19th Century.
A ribboned bunch of asparagus makes up the pierced footed drainer, the under tray has a wave like pattern with a nautical rope border. The effect is a raft of ocean going asparagus.
