A Faïence oyster plate from the Quimper region of France, circa 1940s. Produced by Paul Fouillen, a potter who left the Henriot Grand Maison Quimper pottery to produce his own line, Maison Fouillen.
Brightly glazed and with a textured ground, the six wells show hand painted florals.
