A 76 Piece Boxed set of EPNS, silver plated flatware in the Bead pattern, Kirk & Matz, Sheffield, England – circa 1960s.
Kirk & Matz Ltd. was an American cutlery importer with Sheffield links. Boxed sets of high quality, plated cutlery were a speciality.

12 dinner knives – 9.5 in. L
12 dinner forks – 8.5 in. L
12 salad forks – 7.0 in. L
12 teaspoons – 6.0 in. L
12 soup spoons – 7.0 in. L
12 steak knives – 8.0 in. L – kept in three felt rolls with makers marks.
4 piece serving set: Serving Fork, Slotted Square Shaped Server, Serving Spoon, Slotted Serving Spoon – all measuring 8.5 in. L x 2 in. W
The set is housed in a wood, felt lined presentation box with one drawer, measuring 15 in. L x 11.5 in W x 5.5 in. H
All pieces showing the makers marks. EPNS A1, Sheffield, England. The knives show the lion and shield mark as well.
The entire service is in very good vintage condition, heavy weight, fine quality.
The box shows the expected light outer wear.
