Description
An Art Nouveau French porcelaneous plate showing aspects of both the asparagus and artichoke plants, circa 1900-1910.
The plate is rimmed in a bittersweet orange-red, asparagus spears lay across the plate glazed with lavender tips. A deep sauce well is formed of the globe shaped artichoke head surrounded by a swirl of stylized leaves. Wonderful color.

Multiple plates are available, all in fine stable condition without chipping or hairlines.
